4. Previous Soccer experience & accomplishments:
I started my soccer career of with FK Omladinac, (Gradiska, Republic of Srpska) playing there from 1992 through 1997, which is when my family migrated over to United States. Upon arrival, I joined the youth system of United Serbians. During this time period we managed to became national 3vs3 Got Milk Champions. I went on to play for Marquette University High School (2 state championships and a finalist finish) and then Marquette University itself (Division I soccer). Before coaching at the United Serbians, I coached at the Racine United SC (formerly known as Racine Soccer Club) for one year and North Shore United for 2 years. Prior to my coaching career, I was a referee at the club and high school level for a few of years.
5. Small biography:
I was born in the city of Zenica, former country of Yugoslavia, now part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. My family migrated over to the United States of America in 1997. We lived in Orlando, FL for a year and then moved to Milwaukee, WI in 1998. Milwaukee is where I have spent a third of my life. I attended A.E. Burdick middle school, Marquette University High School and Marquette University. I have a double major in finance and international business along with a minor in political sciences. I met my beautiful wife Suzana my freshmen year of college and we got married in 2014. We have two sons, Lazar & Milos. I am currently employed with Manpower Group and I am a Senior Financial Analyst for the Experis IT brand. Besides being a soccer fanatic and fan of Partizan Belgrade, I also enjoy watching basketball and am a huge fan of the Orlando Magic.
6. Goal/Vision for USYSC:
My vision for this club is to become a top 5 academy in the state of Wisconsin. With the coaching staff that we have in place today and the facilities we have at our disposal, I am confident that we can put our community on the soccer map while providing a fun and safe environment for the children of our community to grow and prosper in.
